Dr. Nordin Bin Yunus received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, England in July, 1976, a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, USA in August, 1982, an Engineer degree in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA in May, 1986 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri, Rolla, USA in December, 1988.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer (1984) in Malaysia, a Fellow (1984/1995) of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, and a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia and the Malaysian Water Association.
Currently, he is a Visiting Professor at the School of Environmental Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis in Kangar, Malaysia. He is also a Visiting Professor in Industrial Management at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University in Hatyai, Thailand. He is also an Associate in the Science and Engineering Foundation Program at Queen Mary, University of London in the United Kingdom. He also practices as an Independent Private Consultant providing corporate advice and services to individuals and organization in the planning, implementation and operation of infrastructural projects.
